It’s a scorcher. And it’s dry. But we’re still smiling 🙂
We’re in quite a dry spell currently, but the veggies keep on coming in.
It’s hard to believe we’re already into July. The daylight hours are now getting just a little shorter, but the workload sure doesn’t seem to be!
Summer is officially here and the heat has definitely cranked up! Certainly not a bad thing for the veggies.
To help ease the sting of having no more strawberries till 2023, we’re going to keep things sweet this week.
This week will be the grand finale for our strawberry patch.

With plenty of moisture in the ground and now the heat creeping in, the veggies are really starting to grow.

We will now be partnering with Keystone Mycology for delicious mushrooms!
Thank you to everyone who came to our second annual beekeeping seminar in September! Check out photos of the fantastic event courtesy of Joan Zachary.

Thank you for being a part of this year’s CSA! Each season is a journey…
Roasted Butternut Squash Tacos w/ Red Cabbage
Nasturtiums are both a beautiful flower and a great addition to a meal.
While the season is winding down, we still have a couple new varieties of crops to share with everyone
Winter savory is one of our newer perennial herbs! It has a lot of different uses and pairs well with meats and winter squashes.
When I look at the items in this week’s CSA share I feel like it’s time to get all cozied up for Winter!
