Hello Summer, we feel you! This first week of summer is forecasted to be a scorcher, with maybe a touch of relief on Thursday hopefully. The CSA harvest will have a more Spring like feel to it yet though. We still have a bunch of peas to pick and the last of the broccoli this week, with most of it being side shoots, not the big central heads everyone received in the past. We also have a second round of cauliflower and cabbage. A few new items this week are the red beets and scallions and we have a new variety of red romaine to try out. It’s a stunner!

The flower and herb gardens are really starting to come in and we have a lot of new flowers this year to make a nice bouquet to take home with you.
Dill, Cilantro, Rosemary, Lemon Balm, Chamomile, Sage, Oregano, Chives, Thyme, and perhaps a few others I can’t remember at the moment are able to be cut in the pick your own herb garden. The basil, parsley, and lavender still need some more time to size up.
