It’s going to be a cold one tonight. Ironically, it was exactly 1 year ago when I included a poem by James Whitcomb Riley titled “When the Frost is on the Punkin’ ” in the blog to go along with the change in weather. Looks like it’s becoming a safe bet that by the second last week of October we will have a hard frost. The CSA share is chock full of items that go well with a frost… even pumpkins!

Peppers ( harvested just before tonight’s frost)
